**BRIOCHE LIKE BREAD PUDDING WITH SALTED CARAMEL BUTTER

Ingredienser

  • ***4 large slices of brioche
  • ***90 g powder sugar
  • ***3 tbs fresh cream
  • ***100 ml water
  • ***30 g salted butter
  • ***1 egg
  • ***100 ml milk

Tilberedning

***Heat the powder sugar and water in your non-stick TEFAL saucepan. Wait for the caramel to brown (do not stir) Off the heat, add the salted butter, mix and add the fresh cream. Leave to cool

***Pour the milk in a plate. In a bowl, beat the egg Use a brioche which is a few days old. Cut it into 1cm thick slices. Dip a slice in the milk first and then in the beaten egg. Heat up your non-stick TEFAL frying pan and wait for the Thermo-signal to be red. It means it is at the perfect temperature to start cooking. Heat up a little vegetable oil and cook the slice of brioche for a few minutes on each side. The slice will be crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.

***In a plate, place your brioche and pour some caramel reheated on top.
